Principal Geologist
My involvement with the Aussie team commenced in 2008 in my capacity as Environmental Project Manager for ExxonMobil. Aussie performed all remediation earthworks on a 20ha former fuel terminal and lubricant plant including the excavation, treatment and reinstatement of approximately 65,000m3 of hydrocarbon impacted soil, and general site management including waste disposal, fencing and barricading, pond construction and decommissioning, road maintenance, stormwater management and erosion control, and reseeding.
The works were performed flawlessly with over 55,000 man hours without injury.
Based on the performance of the Aussie team on this site, ExxonMobil procured URS and Aussie Enviro to perform similar works on a site in Darwin where approximately 27,000m3 of soil was excavated treated and reinstated in 4 months. Again the works were performed flawlessly with no injuries or incidents.
Aussie operates with the highest level of professionalism and commitment to completing all works on time, on budget and above all safely.
I would have no hesitation in using the Aussie team in the future.

I was Area Team Leader at Jackson when Aussie Enviro performed a number of Environmental and Civil jobs for us, some of which are listed below.
- Landfarms, rehabilitation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil.
- Building of several crude and diesel tank earthen bunds.
- Base stabilisation of Jackson Wash and Stock tanks.
- Removal of hydrocarbon sludge and vegetation from contaminated ponds.
- TWC pipeline removal and ROW rehabilitation.
- Spill response and removal of contaminated soil Zues, Cook
- Muthero lined pond installation.
- Cook tankfarm bund rehab, install of cement blanket.
During all the above jobs I worked closely with the Aussie Enviro team lead by Mark Cain and found them to be very professional and safety orientated, they worked well with all our team to deliver a professional cost effective resolution to many different incidents we had.

The job site was positioned adjacent to a distressed wall and thus, the excavation was required to be completed in a safe, yet timely manner. Aussie Enviro Excavations did not disappoint.

I have personally known Mark and Kathy Cain for almost sixteen years. Though out this time they have grown their business with one main objective – to look after each customer like they are the only customer they have.
